Story
Tulle appeals sensibility, you can see through it, it shows the inner self, the body. We use skin-colors tulle as a representation of the soul and the feelings that we share. This light fabric lets us see our most vulnerable self, opening us to others in a freer way.
Impact
Tulle is mostly made from synthetic fibers such as nylon and polyester, obtained from petroleum. The impact of these materials on the planet is negative due to its production based on non-renewable resources, also its petroleum origin means that it cannot be degraded, so if it is not expressly taken to a recycling plant it will take hundreds of years to decompose. It is important to extend the life of any material specially if they can’t degrade and if the sources we took to produce them are finite.
